This past Tuesday was Aiden's Christmas Pageant at his daycare and it was the cutest thing I have ever seen. His classroom were the stars - they each carried a gold glittery star on a stick/dowel rod type of thing. Each class, grades P3 through Kindergarten had a role in telling the Christmas story. On the way there, Aiden kept telling us that he was going to sing really loud!
When I dropped him off in the cafeteria, he did not want me to leave. His little friend Veronica came up to us and in the most matter-of-fact voice she tells Aiden, "Aiden, we have to sit here and color, then we go up the secret stairs to the chapel, then we sing, then our mommies & daddies come get us, then we get to eat cookies".
When Aiden got on stage, he saw us right away and pointed at us and waved. Then about half way through his classes song, his little friend Veronica must have been hitting him on the back of the head with her star, because he turned around and yelled at her to stop! The teacher then moved Aiden away from Veronica and he finished singing.
Again, sorry for the horrible photography, but try to enjoy these pictures.
